Our Story

We believe that one word from God changes everything.

When we hear Him speak, our hearts align with Heaven, and the power of His word goes out until it accomplishes all its purpose. Incredibly, this isn’t up to chance–we can press in to talk with God at any time, especially if we are his children. Regular conversations and encounters with Him should be normal for the Christian experience.

We have witnessed firsthand how dramatically a heart can be calmed and healed, a circumstance redeemed, an identity revealed, a solution released, an atmosphere shifted – all from a single encounter with God.

Humans were never meant to live in separation from God. That is the consequence of sin. When Jesus paid the ultimate price to reconcile us to God, the ability for us to live in connection, union, and partnership with Him was reactivated for anyone who believes!

This has become our primary mission: helping people have two-way conversations with God so they can experience His goodness firsthand. Our lives have been marked by communion and intimacy with God, and we want this for as many others as possible.

For over two decades, Nathanael Vossler has been exploring what it looks like to practically walk with the Holy Spirit and hear His voice on a daily basis. He loves to show people how simple and powerful it is to prioritize a little time out of their day to talk with God, expecting Him to speak.

Nathanael realized that a digital tool, such as an app, would be the perfect solution to facilitating this practice in his own life and for others. In 2025, he was led to leave a corporate CFO role to found Rhema NOW–a grassroots movement of ordinary believers connecting with God regularly in tangible ways.

Nathanael is a devoted husband to his wife, Kirsten, and an awesome dad to their children. He’s always happy to eat a home-grilled steak, get outside to enjoy nature, or play ultimate frisbee with the kids.

Kirsten Vossler loves Jesus and people. Her life has been shaped by following God’s voice and having an intimate, personal relationship with Him. Kirsten loves being a wife and homeschool mom. She hosts the Rejoicing in Motherhood podcast to encourage Christian moms and help them thrive in motherhood.

Kirsten enjoys finding ridiculous amounts of delight in little things, connecting with friends, and having deep conversations and riotous fun with her family.

Rhema NOW is not officially affiliated with any church or ministry, nor is it a non-profit religious organization. We are non-denominational Christians who are simply followers of Jesus. We are using our resources, gifts and talents in the marketplace to develop effective tools to equip believers everywhere to encounter God for themselves.
